BFA2 Lighting Technology Stream Production Practice
Students studying the Lighting Technology Stream can take on the role of Lighting Board Operator.
Once they have completed the course Associated Lighting Studies I in Semester A, they are eligible to take the the role of Production Electrician in Semester B.
The details are outlined in the chart below.
The Lighting Board Operator is an essential member of the Lighting Production Team. Ultimately they will be responsible for ensuring that the Lighting Designer’s design is implemented accurately and artistically in every performance of the production.
